Why I Finally Launched My Own Podcast for SMEs

Updated: 19 minutes ago

🎙️ Hi, I’m Jazzy T, founder of JazzCast Pros and proud host of the brand-new podcast Elevating Enterprise—a show built for small business owners who are ready to scale but need real-world strategy, not just inspiration.

After producing nearly 1,000 podcast episodes for incredible entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and changemakers on the JazzCast Pros Network, I realized something important: the conversations were powerful—but many of them stopped short of telling listeners what to do next.

That all changed after I attended the 2025 Upstate New York Supplier Diversity Summit in Rochester, NY. There, I connected with MWBEs doing over $100K in annual revenue, using their certification to land subcontracting opportunities. And while I was inspired, I was also struck by the silence around how solopreneurs and micro-business owners get started on that same path.

🔑 Where was the step-by-step playbook?

🎯 Where were the industry gatekeepers willing to break it down?

🧩 Where was the information for people without deep connections or full-time bid teams?

I decided to create it.

Introducing Elevating Enterprise

Elevating Enterprise is the podcast that gives you a 100K-foot view of success—and the steps to get there. Co-hosted with my husband RJ Williams, a business strategist with a sharp eye for systems and scalability, we’re here to help small business owners move smarter, not just harder.

And we’re not starting small. In Episode 1, we sit down with the founders of ROC AI, a Rochester-based tech company making AI-powered business tools accessible to small and mid-sized enterprises.

Ep 1: “ROC AI and the Rise of Rochester Tech”

In this powerful launch episode, Cody Henehan and Brendon Fraizer explain how they’re using their partnership with Microsoft—and deep expertise in AI—to:

🔹 Bring enterprise-level tools like Microsoft Copilot to small businesses

🔹 Build AI models that integrate with your existing data, CRMs, and workflows

🔹 Help teams of 1–5 people outperform bigger competitors

🔹 Empower employees instead of replacing them

🔹 Provide ethical, secure, and HIPAA-compliant AI solutions for highly regulated industries

They also drop real gems on the difference between AI tools and AI agents (👀 look that up!) and how businesses that adapt early are already leapfrogging the competition.

✅ Action Steps for Small Business Owners

Here’s what you can do today, based on what ROC AI shared:

🔧 1. Audit Your Tech Stack Are you already using Microsoft 365 or Teams? You may already have access to AI features like Copilot—start exploring them!

💬 2. Join Conversations in Your Community Whether it’s a ROC AI event or your local MWBE roundtable, get in the room with people who are innovating. Growth is contagious.

📊 3. Put AI to Work on Small Tasks Start with low-risk, time-saving uses: generating meeting summaries, drafting agendas, or forecasting in Excel.

🤝 4. Build Strategic Partnerships Align with organizations (like ROC AI!) who understand small business pain points and can guide you to scalable solutions.

🧠 5. Don’t Wait to Learn AI isn’t a trend—it’s the next chapter in business strategy. Get curious now and stay ready for what’s next.

💬 Final Thoughts

If you're ready to stop spinning your wheels and start scaling with intention, Elevating Enterprise is for you. We're here to cut through the fluff and connect you directly to the people and insights that can move your business forward.
